The 0.05 TH/s Gate: What Counts as Sustained Output

Our 0.05 TH/s threshold is a sustained gate, not a marketing floor. Units must hold output above that line for the majority of an eight-hour verification window at farm-representative temperature.

Measurement setup

We connect each unit to a reference pool with stable latency from our Jeonju lab. Hashrate is logged every five minutes. We discard the first thirty minutes as warm-up unless the operator requests cold-start behavior.

What fails

  • Average hashrate below 0.05 TH/s across the window
  • Output that drops below the gate for more than 15% of intervals
  • Thermal throttling that correlates with hashrate dips

GPU miners

High-output GPU rigs are evaluated on aggregate fleet TH/s when sent as a sealed enclosure. Single-card hobby rigs typically fall below our hosted-farm scope.

After a fail

We explain whether dust, degraded thermal paste, undervolt settings, or pool issues likely caused the result. Some units pass after cleaning; others are honestly below hosted-farm tier.
